We generally harvest a crop of microgreens the evening before our markets so you are getting microgreens at their freshest. You can do a "Grow to Order" that can be picked up at our farmers market locations or can be delivered in the local Kingman and Golden Valley, AZ area.

 

Alfalfa - Mild flavored microgreen considered to be a superfood due to their high nutrients.  They are a source of vitamins,minerals, and antioxidents such as vitamins K, C, A, B, & E, folate and copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc.  

 

Arugula - (NOT CURRENTLY GROWING) Is a spicy microgreen.  It is a good source of Vitamins A, C, Calcium, E, Iron, L, Lutein, and beta-carotene, has antioxidants and may have anti-inflammatory properties.  May improve digestion.
 
Broccoli -  Is a mild mirogreen.  Out of all of the microgreens this is one of the most nutrient dense microgreens. Good source of vitamins A, B vitamins, C, E, K, macro-elements calcium, iron, copper, zinc.  Broccoli microgreens are a great source of fiber, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids.  It also contains Sulforaphane which has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxification properties potentially leading to reduced cancer risk, improved cardiovascular health, and better brain function. 

 

Crunchy Mix - a mix of Broccoli, Pea, Radish and Sunflower.

 
Pea -  Taste just like Peas.  They are a good source of vitamins A, C, E, and folic acid, dietary fiber, protein, and carbohydrates.
 
Radish - Another spicy microgreen is a good source of vitamins A and C, also calcium and iron.
 
Sunflower - Has a nutty, slightly sweet flavor with a crunchy texture.  Is a good source of  vitamins A, C, E, K and B6, folate, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus copper, zinc manganese and selenium, omega-3s and omega-6s, and are a substantial source of complete plant protein.

 

Wheatgrass - You've probably heard of Wheatgrass shots;  in the juice form is a powerhouse of nutrients.  Rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.  Excellent source of potassium, dietary fiber, vitamins A, C, E, K, and B, Iron, Calcium, magnesium and zinc.  We can grow small 6" rounds or larger 9x12 and 10x20 flats for someone who would like to juice on a daily basis.

 

Wheatgrass makes a great treat for  some pets as well.  

 

How Can I use my microgreens once I get them Home?

 

Add Microgreens anywhere you would use other greens. 

 

- Put in Smoothies and Juices

- Add to your favorite sandwich, wrap, or burger

- Use in Pesto

- Add to inside and on top of an omelet

- Use on tacos

- Great on avacod toast

- Garnish soups and chili's

- Add to salsa

- Add to pasta and rice dishes

- Add to meatloaf

- Add to your regular salads to add more flavors and textures
